Dear Colleagues,
The dynamic city of Singapore will be the venue for AAH's 2007 Convention, offering pharmacists and manufacturers the opportunity to experience the city's unique culture, debate the hottest topics in pharmacy and meet with colleagues old and new.
The Convention will take place from 18 - 24 April 2007 and will have the theme of 'Understanding tomorrow today'. It will be held at the Oriental, Singapore, voted among the Top Three Best Overseas Business Hotels last year by Condé Nast Traveller.
Pharmacists attending the business sessions will hear from leading industry figures on topics such as working with other healthcare providers and practice-based commissioning, and gain valuable hours towards their CPD portfolios.
Delegates have the opportunity extend their stay with a visit to one of the world's leading hotels, the Datai in Langkawi, Malaysia. The hotel, in the depths of a centuries old virgin rain forest and set above a secluded beach, combines luxury accommodation with a retreat to nature. Places here are limited so AAH recommends delegates book early to avoid disappointment.
"Singapore has combined the best of old and new to create a vibrant economy," said Steve Dunn, group managing director of AAH. "Pharmacists need to do the same, combining their traditional skills of dispensing and patient care with the new healthcare services to create additional opportunities for their business.
"I look forward to welcoming first-time attendees and old friends to Singapore and hearing about the new opportunities opening up in today's dynamic world of pharmacy."
Pharmacists interested in attending the AAH Convention should contact the event office on 020 7420 1780, or ask their AAH business manager for further details.
