Suppliers See Hospital Service Branches First Hand

AAH Hospital Service is opening the doors of its branches and offering suppliers the opportunity to see the company’s behind the scenes work for themselves.
Tours of the Ruislip and Birmingham branches have been arranged for June, with visits to other sites being planned for later in the year.
Jeff Bulmer, AAH Hospital Service director, said: “Giving suppliers the opportunity to see how we use technology to store products and manage and process orders is part of our commitment to transparent partnership.
“From tours earlier in the year, suppliers have fed back that they have appreciated the opportunity, and have made particular note of our cold chain capabilities, investment in automation and comprehensive on-site staff training.”
Having attended a tour earlier this year Andrew Grubb, Customer Service Manager, Wyeth observed: “We understand better now the role AAH plays in the supply chain, and how they can work with us effectively.”
