AAH supplies care home software to pharmacies

Whether it is for the supply of monitored dosage systems (MDS) or individual prescriptions, care homes and community pharmacies need to work closely to ensure that all procedures are followed and correct records created when dispensing for patients.
AAH Pharmaceutical’s LINK Care Home Software ensures that medication administration records (MARs) are printed and managed more easily and patients receive the correct medicines at the right time of day.

Dispensing items is very similar to non care home patients. However, added facilities allow the pharmacist to input administration times at the dispensing stage and current medication is high-lighted in red for ease of use when repeating from the PMR.
Furthermore, the ability to print MAR sheets and cassette cards while allowing the user to print directly onto a laser printer rather than a slow dot matrix printer or expensive pre-printed stationery suggests the saving of both time and costs. The LINK Care Home Software also supports the most popular MAR stationery.
