AAH 2010 Flu Vaccination Service

By joining the AAH healthwatch service you'll receive comprehensive training on injecting techniques enabling you to administer named Flu vaccines under the direction of a private PGD.

What's more you'll collect a marketing support pack to help you run a successful Flu clinic and promote the service to local patients and businesses. We'll even help with the administration by providing a full toolkit of patient forms, GP letters, and more.

Training that's committed to quality & service

You will need to attend one of our off-site nurse led training sessions. It's an essential part of Clinical Governance and a lawful requirement to keep your CPR skills renewed annually.
Off-site training, held at regional venues convenient for you, includes:
  • A review of Clinical Governance documents and protocols.
  • Practical session on administering injections.
  • Full training on CPR, including a practical session.
  • Guidance and discussion on how to run a successful flu clinic.
  • Tailored marketing materials to help you maximise awareness of the service.

New for 2010 – last years customers that rebook can take advantage of half day sessions to fast track their qualification. There are even a limited number of Sunday sessions available too!

Service Availability

The Patient Group Direction (PGD) allows pharmacists to offer seasonal flu vaccinations from October through to the end of January 2011. At your training session you’ll collect an improved marketing support pack to help you promote and a run a successful Flu Clinic.
We’ll even help with the administration side too by providing a full toolkit of patient documentation including; consent forms, service leaflets, GP letters and evaluation questionnaires.
2010 fees include;
  • 20 Norvartis vaccines for lead pharmacist bookings (allocated to customer)
  • Off-site nurse led training sessions
  • Refreshments & parking
  • PGD support pack
  • Full service documentation
  • More marketing & promotional materials
