Our national chains customers include Asda(Wal-mart), Tescos, Sainsburys, Superdrug and the Co-operative Pharmacy.

Our team of expert National Account Executives have excellent relationships with key decision makers both within NHS Trusts and private, prison and MOD hospitals.

We are also unique in that AAH has a dedicated team of Business Managers who work  with dispensing doctor practices across the UK.

Management info and control

Our market-leading websites Supplier Point and Medecator offer in-depth business critical information at the touch of a button.

Supplier Point is our supplier dedicated website which gives our suppliers accessibility and visibility to their products throughout the AAH Branch Network.

Medecator allows hospitals to order and receive invoices electronially via Edi or cXML from over 760 wholesalers and suppliers.

We also offer the ability to request tailored management information and sales data.

Regulatory affairs

Our Regulatory Affairs department is responsible for

  • Maintaining effective regulatory control over the supply chain.
  • Delivering a robust quality assurance strategy to ensure maximum control over the safety of purchased medicines.
  • Monitoring changes in the regulations to anticipate any impact on AAH and any changes to the market we operate in.
  • Implementing AAH's anti-Counterfeit activity, issuing training to raise awareness of the issue of counterfeit medicines.
  • All licensing issues and queries.
  • Offering assistance with serious complaints.

Product Recalls

Regulatory Affairs are also responsible for coordinating all product recalls through the AAH Pharmaceuticals Ltd network on behalf of its suppliers. If you wish to recall a product from the market then please only contact one of the names above or fax the recall notice to the Product Recall fax number.

All product recalls are charged in line with the BAPW guidelines.

Counterfeit Control

All key AAH branch staff are trained in counterfeit recognition. This training is regularly updated and enhanced through reminder campaigns. Our policy of purchasing exclusively from manufacturers and license wholesalers also means that you can be sure that your products have been handled in the most ethical and professional manner

Marketing and sales support

Our unique position within the supply chain enables us to not merely distribute products, but also to ensure that essential product and service information is passed to the right people, at the right time. Whether by face-to-face contact, email or printed collateral, our pharmacy customers rely on us to receive regular updates about developments within the industry.

This means that we can manage the distribution of essential information to pharmacy on behalf of manufacturers and clients. This includes details of product launches, availability and recall notices, as well as the provision of mailing databases and mail-out services such as product leaflet design, copy writing and printing.
