AAH completes ProScript LINK migration in Scotland

AAH Pharmaceuticals has completed its migration from LINK to ProScript LINK just 140 days following initial correspondence to its customers in Scotland announcing its partnership with Rx Systems.

This means that all of the company’s Scottish customers, other than those that have robotic dispensers, are fully operational with ProScript LINK.

Leon Rudd, director of marketing at AAH said: “We focused on providing high levels of training for our customers and ensured that we maximised their business continuity through completing the seamless transfer of all their PMR data.

“Our customers are now benefiting from software that looks and feels familiar and is ready for eCMS, which is crucial for pharmacy in Scotland. The feedback from customers has been extremely positive and we are looking forward to delivering ProScript LINK throughout the rest of the UK.”

AAH held customer evenings ahead of installs to outline the migration process, including, the transfer of data from LINK to ProScript LINK, and the training that was available after installation.

Practical hands-on sessions were held in small groups during the customer evenings, enabling a first viewing with expert advice from trainers to ensure a smooth transition with minimum impact upon a pharmacists’ business the company said.

Alison Hair of Parkhead Pharmacy in Glasgow said that ProScript LINK has surpassed all of her expectations while borders pharmacist, George Romanes said: “It was clear that significant resource had been put behind this.

“The main concern for most Scottish pharmacists is getting to grips with eCMS quickly. I am confident that ProScript LINK is a system that will be able to help me achieve this.”

Leon Rudd added: “ProScript LINK is the only PMR system in the UK that has the strength of a major wholesaler to support it both now and in the future. 140 days ago our customers knew absolutely nothing of the impending changes; today those changes have set the agenda for our support to independent pharmacy in the UK.”
