AAH Scoops Prestigious Fleet Award

AAH Pharmaceuticals Ltd has successfully scooped first place in a national fleet award in the category of “Innovation in Fleet Safety”

The prestigious award by leading fleet publication ‘Fleet News’ recognises AAH as leading the fleet and logistics industry in driving enhancements in vehicle, operational and driver safety.

The judges were looking for entries that demonstrated an organisation had a clear distribution strategy, were committed to delivering significant safety improvements, and that most importantly demonstrated innovative and new techniques in achieving this. AAH delivered on all counts, with particular praise being received in the following areas; 
       

• AAH’s industry leading EiPD driver training and development programme
• All of our 1,000 drivers receiving SAFED (safe and fuel efficient) driver training
• Fitting of winter tyres across our entire fleet – to aid safety and improve service
• Fitting of vehicle speed limiters across our entire delivery fleet
• A demonstrable reduction in vehicle related accidents of 24% during 2011
• First business in the UK to receive the FTA van Excellence accreditation
